At EquiVita, you can expect a well-trained Licensed Massage Therapist who has your care as the center of their concern.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly front-desk staff. You will be asked to complete a brief health history form that will determine your current physical condition, medical history, lifestyle, areas of pain, health goals and current need for massage. Our therapists will help you to identify the goals of your massage, whether you are seeking a one-time relaxation experience or if you are integrating massage into your total wellness plan.
A massage from an expert EquiVita Licensed Massage Therapist differs from the traditional massage because our therapists are trained to provide the balance between relaxation and therapeutic intervention for each individual. Our Massage Therapists use a wide range of techniques, styles and forms to relieve pain and stress and bring you into a more relaxed state. We have created an environment where you can receive a massage that is tailored to meet your needs within your comfort level.
At EquiVita, we recognize massage as a key element to living well, a promising treatment for certain medical conditions, and a powerful means for counteracting stress. Massage therapy is a key component of a balanced life.

"It's amazing to me how she can push...to give me such relief" - Katie
Since I started seeing Erika Hughes at Equivita it has been life changing for me. She is an amazing massage therapist! She first asks you questions on what is hurting so during your appointment time she really works on that area & somehow she makes the time to also work on your entire body. When I say work she really has the perfect pressure & she will adjust to however you need it. I generally need her to dig in deep. It is amazing to me of how she can push in certain areas to give me such relief. There are many times that I have hobbled in to see her & after an hour with her I can stand up straight & walk out. And that is what I mean by life changing!
"The EquiVita solution solved my back problem" - Pete
I had been trying to alleviate my back pain for over 20 years through multiple medical avenues when my chiropractor referred me to EquiVita for massage therapy. During therapy it was suggested that I augment massage with strength training. I was quite doubtful seeing that I had been in physical training before, but I was willing to try. I desperately wanted to lift and wrestle with my young son. To my amazement the EquiVita solution solved my back pain problem where other programs could not. I am now doing things I have not been able to do since I was 20 years old. Some may want to try traditional approaches first, but when that doesn’t work, come to EquiVita. It’s not a quick fix, but then good things seldom are. It is a lot of hard work. They do a great job and I would recommend them to others. I’ve been coming for several years.
"Massage became my monthly friend" - Wendy S.
My experience with massage began in 2007 when my close friend gave me an EquiVita gift certificate after my husband died. I had been working out for 2 years with personal trainers but never felt the need for massage, probably because I had no idea what I was missing. As I began running longer distances I scheduled massage appointments after my longer training runs, 8-10 miles. When I decided to train for a full marathon in 2009, massage became my monthly friend following even longer training runs and Cheryl was my very best friend on race day afternoons (right after the chocolate milk!). When EquiVita began offering memberships with free 30 minute monthly massage it was clear to me that I had been missing the most important components of my training: the relief from pain, release of tension, reduction of stress and very simply how to relax and enjoy my accomplishments.
