Fit U. What is it? What does it mean?
Fit U is an educational bonus to what we already do, in that we are able to inform, educate and help our clients find their way to a certain goal, and help make their lives better. The topics chosen often highlight our 5 Keys of Fitness and are geared toward you, and how we can help you. A very relaxed, informative session over coffee is a great way to start off a Saturday!!
Fit U meets every two weeks on Saturday mornings at 10am, in the EQUIVITA Cafe. Anyone is welcome to join us for this and guests to EQUIVITA are always welcome. Adam Milligan, our Founder and President, started these classes with the goal of giving people more insight to how the body works, and what we can do and control, to help it perform optimally. Every Fit U session has a different topic with a bit of a lecture from Adam, and questions are posed during the class as well. There have been a wide range of topics for Fit U classes, from the emotional to the physical aspects of our lives. Below are some of our past topics of Fit U classes.

- Reference Points and creating new ones based on what you want your model of achievement to be.
- Acute Spasms and how they can effect you mentally, physically and the choices we can make to change those effects.
- Hindsight; how to face it head on and come up with ways to allow ourselves to change it.
- The Habit Loop, how we create them and how we can use therapeutic doses to disrupt them and create a new, better life.
- Body damage, Dynamic Energy Balance and Goals-how we can ask the right questions to get through to the cause of the issues, and move forward to change.
