Carla Fox - Personal Trainer/Yoga Instructor
I have used my body to find balance in life in a number of ways. I was a muay thai boxer when I needed to learn about power. I looked into fitness training ages ago, when I needed a reminder to take care of myself. I started yoga when I needed to deal with anxiety. I became a kundalini yoga and meditation teacher when I was ready to start serving the needs of others. That piece of my journey has expanded to specializing in prenatal/postpartum, and yoga therapy. Fitness training at Equivita surfaced as another way to work with people, and it has tied together so many of my interests. All of these things offer boundless chances to learn and connect with people.
I believe everyone has the right to feel whole. As it turns out, feeling whole is quite the ongoing, dynamic journey with infinite paths available. I work at Equivita, because we offer people a vast number of tools to unearth that sense of well-being, knowing that no two paths are exactly alike. The authentic interest that our entire staff has in helping our clients has created a space where people know, each time they come in, that they are cared for and welcomed just as they are. As a professional, it’s an environment of growth, support and humor, which to me, is extraordinary.
