Adam Milligan, founder and president, first became interested in body balancing while working in physical therapy
clinics. In this environment, he noticed that many patients would return for the same ailment. This pattern led him to
design a fitness program designed to correct the body's imbalances, rather than apply the same exercies to all. The
model for this program is the basis for all EQUIVITA's fitness services: Comprehensive Assessment, looking at the
whole person -- past, current and future (goals), targeted program design and specific exercises to transition the body
toward the goals.
Tami Wise, Transitional Fitness Trainer II, works closely with Adam to develop plans customized to each person's goals.
Her experience as a competitive athlete offers another dimension no matter if a person is striving for personal benefits
or wants to venture into a competitive arena -- such as entering a 5K race or a marathon.
Sean McLean, Transitional Fitness Trainer, is currently in school to finish his degree in Exercise Science and
Pre-Physical Therapy at Capital University and Columbus State Community College. With his continuing education and
background in Exercise Science, Sean is able to bring numerous skills to EQUIVITA. He has experience working with
clients of all age groups and has worked in many different health club settings. Sean values the importance of
functional strength. He emphasizes the positive effects of purposeful exercise and nutrition to meet an individual's
desired goals. He is also a volunteer in the rehabilitation department at the Whetstone Gardens and Care Center. His
skills related to weight training and fitness assessment assure that he incorporates the Five Fitness Keys in your
personalized training program. More
Dave Logue, Transitional Fitness Trainer I, is able to listen, assess, teach and maximize your program to meet your
changing needs. Through his experiences in athletics and working in the medical field, he brings the perfect blend of
knowledge and support to ensure you a customized workout regime personalized to your goals and body needs.
Cheryl Harris, Licensed Massage Therapist, has practiced many years as a therapist and during that time has honed
her skills to provide the balance between relaxation and therapeutic massage. Her ability to see each client as unique,
with specific needs, and to tailor every massage for the individual makes her a great addition to the EQUIVITA team.
Michael Pitrone, Licensed Massage Therapist, is an Ohio licensed and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, as well
as a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist. He graduated with honors from The American Institute of Alternative Medicine
in Columbus, Ohio. He has a B.S. in Natural Health from Clayton College where he majored in Herbology. Michael
combines trigger point work with Swedish massage and stretching. His goals are to get his clients out of pain (without
causing undo discomfort) and to help them enjoy their bodies more. Michael makes every effort to communicate with
you throughout your massage session with compassion and humor. He wants to make sure you are comfortable and
that you understand the benefits of your massage. Michael uses his intuition, knowledge, and palpation skills to
release muscle tension, stress, and pain. More
Barbara Huebner, Licensed Massage Therapist, is an Ohio licensed therapist who graduated with honors from
Everest Institute in Gahanna. Her skills include Swedish massage, fascial release, trigger point/neuromuscular therapy,
as well as sports and deep tissue massage. She has a strong belief in natural healing and stress relief and believes
that she can help people achieve a more healthful balance in their lives through massage.
