Life Long Learning
Living and Learning Fairs
"The purpose of the Living and Learning Fair is to provide an opportunity to bring together
professionals and consumers in an environment that will promote sharing of information and lifelong
learning,” says Adam Milligan, EQUIVITA President. A free informational class is offered every half
hour, encompassing a wide variety of life topics such as art, landscaping, herbs, stress relief, the mind
and body connection and life balance. In addition to the presentations in our classroom there will be
information tables and experience stations open all day. “This is more than a health fair. This is a
chance to connect with the tools to support the life you want to have,” remarks Milligan.
Why? “For those of you unfamiliar with EQUIVITA, our mission is to support our clients and their
lifestyle choices. More than fitness, this is total wellness. And, to us, wellness includes a full-spectrum
from art appreciation to exercise to creating financial health. We began this event as a way for our
clients to learn about topics of interest from professionals in the field. Since then, it has grown into an
event in which not only our clients, but the community-at-large will benefit,” states Milligan. “The Living
and Learning Fair provides an opportunity for local businesses to connect with our clients as well as
others who could benefit from their services.” EQUIVITA plans on holding these several times a year.
